Which watch on a deserted island adventure for 4 days?

A friend of mine and I are taking our kids on an adventure, by boat, to an island with only one campsite. It is small, deserted and we will hunt for lost treasure, try to catch our own food and cook over open fire. It’s going to be amazing! The important question for a watch nut is:

Which watch from my small collection would you take for the adventure?

The one that is chocolate flavored, that you can drink, that can start fires and send out the Bat-signal with.

Short of those capabilities, the Omega.

Not my idea of a vacation but may the odds be ever in your favor.

·

D because I would be ok if that one got damaged or lost.

·

D same as above

·

Seiko Willard all day, all night. The ultimate beater.

·

62 MAS!

We will have tonnes of provisions, there has been heaps of planning, chocolate and water definitely covered.

The Omega is a tough little watch, certainly capable out there!

It’s my gym watch. Has taken an absolute beating and keeps coming back!

The steel is almost impervious to scratches, great choice for heavy wet work!

That's a nice choice to have Neil.

If I was to choose an outright favourite it'd be Seamaster '57 but for four days camping by the water it'd absolutely be the ZRC.

Very cool watch indeed.

It certainly is a tough little oddball, I purchased it to be my fishing watch, it’s held up really well.

Such an odd ball, but in a way that works. I'm not a huge fan of weirdness for weirdness sake but there's such a method to the that watches madness.

It's been on my radar lately - I've got a search saved on C24 - the right one will appear at the right time, I'm sure of it.

There isn't much in your collection that I wouldn't happily own tbh.

Id be taking this if I had a choice

The awesome memories will go great with the Omega when you pass it down

·

Willard - as the trip progresses you can slowly descend into madness.

·

I like the Omega way better, but for and adventure? The Willard…

·

Interesting choice. I would choose the watch that has the most history in your life, you would be adding even more to it.

·

If it's gonna be your last, better be found in your best outfit.

·

You parallelized me with the first 3 options man! Can’t I choose the 3 and wear one each day? I’m gonna be alone on the island might as well have something that makes me happy 😂😂

For me it’s a no brainer the Willard was born for this

It’s a super tough watch for sure!

As the hunger sets in, likely yes, very fitting. I’ll wear whatever wins the poll though!

I’ll wear whatever the poll decides, but the Willard is perfect for a beach trip!

Tuxedo and a dress watch?

There will be plenty of company! I’ll wear the watch that the poll decides and take a few photos out there. Space, and weight is at a premium on the boat, we are trying to bring everything over to the island in just one trip. One watch it is, all of the options are stellar!

Tuxedo and a dress watch?

Or whatever best available then, nothings matter afterward anyway.

·

Definately the Omega. Because finally a vacation, where you don't have to worry about your Omega being stolen!!!!!

That’s a nice take. The Seamaster is out in front, it’s my daughter’s birth year watch, and her first camp past 2 days- so it is fitting.

We never have to worry about that type of theft here; Australia is extremely safe.

Wild pigs, snakes, spiders, crazy storms and dingoes whilst camping though…
