(Secret note to gshock fans: I don’t hate Gshock)
In continuing this quest; I’m to argue that this is a better watch…
Than a Gshock
WELL, both tell time, both are waterproof and adventure ready. Both are nice and light…
But : Titanium or plastic? Simple and easy to read or confusing and cluttered? Beautiful to look at or ... less so? 🙊🙉🙈
Ok, GS wins on all these counts… but wait!
There may be some some rare scenarios that call for a gshock!
Like …when you need to dig a deep muddy hole ..with your bare hands! Or throw your watch off a high building! Or, smashing your arm against rocks! Or you desire hitting every door frame you walk past!
Ok, these things have never happened for me..but in theory!
So, for sports, hiking, working, family time, nights out, nights in… go anywhere do almost anything etc …take the beautiful and tough GS413.

This is like arguing that not getting punched in the face is better than getting punched in the face. Of course the GS is better. I mean, even for a G Shock, that thing is uselessly busy. I imagine half the functions are useless even if you could figure out what combo of buttons to push and how to tell what the answer was. It’s like an old PS2 cheat code, but then you can’t see if it worked.

I don’t ask why we jump, I only ask ‘how high’?
I can help with your request tho: my ancient Casio pathfinder is possibly a similar size : it’s a large outdoorsy hockey puck that’ll give a decent idea of froggy mc mud face. Can’t wear it tho’ that’s breaking the rules !

It’s a still great outdoorsy watch despite being 20 years old, but never was the most attractive face to gaze into 😂

Sorry, this is no contest. The Frogmaster is a much superior watch to that other thing. Check out the vivid green color, and the two raised subdials. This model was made for immersion in water. And what's the other one got? 'Spring Drive'? Let me get this straight. It only works in the Spring, three months out of the year? Or is it there's just one lousy spring inside? Whichever it is, there's no way it can have the leaping ability of the Frogmaster.

But don't JLC make that thing called the Reverso? Can't they make up their mind which face their watch should have? Why are they so afraid of commitment? I vote for the G-Shock.
Search for “ #1wc “ and you’ll find mayhem of all sorts from a few weeks ago. Picking a Disney villain to represent your watch was a fun one.
I’m so glad it’s over now and I can go crazy wearing all my different watches again 😁. Change 2x per day 😂
I’m not a JLC guy, but yes Reverso is one. Gshocks are cool but I still need to find one that works for me. I get lug overhang on most with my too small wrists when I’ve tried on.
