I am a sucker for that old-school Omega logo. Plus if memory serves me, the movement in the Omega is one of their own.
For obvious reasons these look, wear and function pretty much all the same. I would like to think however, that a stainless steel case is somewhat superior to a plated one in terms of durability. I may be wrong.

True I compare these because of the same production numbers.

So is Record 😊 they have supplied the same number of watches but Omega is hands down the best.
I prefer the size of the Record but the legibility is not there. Omega has my vote this round. The broader hands would be a benefit trying to read it in bad conditions.

The Omega has the better case as the Record is only chrome top.
From a movement perspective, I’d have to give it to the 30T2, it was slightly younger than the 022, and had been in a few Omega military models already by that point so was incredibly reliable, and probably a lot easier to maintain from the military’s point of view.
I prefer the Record’s dial, but I like the Omega sword hands. These were the two versions that were produced in the most quantity; both brands were capable of producing large volumes of watches and it shows with the Record.
I voted for the Record because I got it confused with the Grana 😋
I got a record plane I've had it since I was a carpenters apprentice does that count . No seriously record as I feel there more unique everyone and there cat knows who omega is .

Many of them are very rare. There are only around 25 full sets 🥹🤯 how about that. (This data is from 2018)
