I usually wear a smart Watch or fitness tracker to track my sleep.
Same here. I know it is not the โwatchโ as some say, but I use it for sleep tracking, for checking time when kids wake me up during the night ๐ and as a silent alarm (no sound, just vibration on the wrist) as I am the first one in the house to wake up during work days.
Never used to until I got this one. My dog wakes me up every morning at 5:30 so if I wake up l like to check the time and make sure itโs not 4:30.๐
Just donโt bother to take my watches off. I wear whatever I wore that day. Itโs not to check the time. Just havenโt ever felt the need to not wear it all night too

And why this watch exactly? Itโs small and light enough?
There are only 2 times I wear a watch while sleeping:
--- I know there's a high likelihood I'm going to have to wake up in the middle of the night and boogie (like while on call or standby for a job or military service).
The watches I've been wearing for the last eight months (Seestern S434 and Wise Adamascus AD773) both have great lume, so I just kept wearing them. If I wore a non-lumed watch during the day, I might swap it for the night.
I wore one of my Prx to bed once when drunkโฆ.when I looked in the mirror nxt morning I thought Iโd been interrogated in some country that didnโt sign the Geneva Conventionโฆ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
I always wear my gshock GBD200. It has a vibration alarm so I don't wake up my wife when I have to get up early in the morning.
I didnโt know these have vibration alarm. ๐คฉ I use smartwatch mostly because of the vibration alarm. Now I have a permission to ditch it. This shock does track workouts too and connects to smartphone, right? Will watch a reviewโฆ or 10! ๐ Thanks for the lead. ๐๐

Yes it's almost a smartwatch. But I have to say. I turned all notifications off. I only use my phone to set the alarm and to update the time. And it does not have a heart rate sensor. Only step counter. And the MIP screen is amazing.
Previously i was changing to the G-Shock since it has the light whenever i need i could light it up at night. But now it changed a bit. I've bought a black light (UV) and just before going to bed i'm giving some to the watch i'm wearing ๐ since all of them has some sort of lume ๐

If it's a smaller/lighter watch I will forget to take it off.

And why this watch exactly? Itโs small and light enough?
No, for the same reason why I don't sleep with my glasses on.
And why this watch exactly? Itโs small and light enough?
Yeah compared to my Sinn itโs like itโs not even there.
I always sleep with a watch on, always have.
I find it the easiest way to check the time when I wake up in the middle of the night.

--- While I'm backpacking.
Usually the Skmei version of the F-91W because of the backlight.
I don't even like wearing my wedding ring when I sleep, much less a watch
And why this watch exactly? Itโs small and light enough?
Kinda like this minus the hat๐
A plastic Casio, a light titanium Boccia (now rarely), or whatever I'm wearing when I'm travelling and I'm not in a secure room.
Yes. All the time. I generally wear whatever I was wearing during the day. Usually a vario 1918 or Oris chronograph.
Weirdly, I just wear what's on to sleep unless it's a more valuable piece

YES, of course. Since the early 1980's.
Blummin' weird not to.
Only time I haven't is hospital and prison, & I'm not too fond of either ๐คฃ
Usually my Laco, it's lume blows Prospex Divers out of the water!
Not necessarily every night, it's often my Seamaster or a Willard.

So itโs a โNOโ? ๐
Sometimes. It has to be light with great lume, like my Rangemaster mechanical on leather strap.
