Do You Like Negative Displays?

Maybe it's just my old eyes these days, but I have a hard time reading negative displays. Two of my pictured G-Shocks are Juggernaut Earth Pounding Beasts, but don't get their deserved wrist time due to this feature. What is Your Opinion?

I have a G Shock Rangeman with negative display. Although it looks cool as hell and makes me feel like I could be running night Ops, it IS sometimes hard to see the time at quick glance. You’re not alone.

Muchas gracias, señor!

Love the G-Shocks! And yes, my GD-100 which I’ve had forever doesn’t get as much love as it should because of the negative display. Most of the time I just grab my Mudmaster when I need a grab and go.

AFAIK MIP (Memory In Pixel) is the only type of negative digital display that doesn't have legibility issues.

What watch brand might have that display?

To me, it depends on the particular watch. I have several different Casio watches with negative displays that vary in visibility, at least to me. I do have on e G Shock with a negative display that I like and can see fine; a GMWB5000. I also have a Twin Sensor SGW100 with a pretty good negative display. Conversely, the negative display on my A100 Pac Man is horrible, although it doesn't keep me from wearing the watch, as I love it other than that.

Some G-SHOCK's, some Garmins and Fitbits and other smartwatches.
