Introducing the Munro, our Best Ever Field Watch! (... and our first!)

Hi Crunchers! Today I'm absolutely thrilled to introduce you all to our new field watch, the Munro!

We hope you like what we've come up with!

The Munro aims to capture the essence of a true field watch - perfectly balanced with everything you need & nothing you don’t.

The journey began two years ago with rigorous design, prototyping phases and testing in the Scottish Highlands. Today we are unveiling the results, our 37.5mm vision of the perfect field watch.

A contoured 9.25mm case blends seamlessly with the wrist, providing uninhibited movement, whether you’re reaching for your next rock hold or another sip of that post hike pint.

The chunky screw-down crown offers a reassuring presence and ease of adjustment, even with gloved hands or freezing finger tips.

Inside, the Mitoya 9039 high beat automatic movement, is hermetically sealed to a water resistance of 150m.

We’ll be sharing more on the specs, colourways (there's three more 👌) & story of the Munro ahead of the 17th October pre-order launch.

In the meantime, we’d love to hear your first impressions! Let us know in the comments, via DM or email!

See you out there,

Tom

🙌 Thanks Jerome! All our parts are custom made (except for the moment and clasp) by our manufacturing team. Parts come in from Japan, China and Europe with final QC, assembly and testing all handled by our Watchmakers here in the UK 😊

Awesome!! The designs are great!! I’m just a hobbyist trying to source out the best parts for a great build… 🍻

This looks VERY interesting! Good luck!

·

Love the watch. Its just a shame it has no indication of Scotland on your watches or I'd have had one immediately. Need to get made in Scotland on it, please.

·

Looking good Tom👍. I really like the look of the case and bracelet. It looks like it’s supposed to be worn while you’re doing things. Really looking forward to see people’s reaction to the ridgeline dial, it’s really different to the other watches out there.

·

I love the design: big crown, less than 10 mm, good WR, sapphire crystal, and applied numerals. These are the features I look for when buying- thanks! I have signed up for the newsletter!

·

Ok, you have my attention! My high school here in Jamaica, Munro College, one of the most prestigious schools in the country, shares the name. That alone has got you a buyer.

·

Damn, something else to save up for.

·

That’s a sleek design! 37.5mm is a good size for field watches in my opinion (36~38). I am also glad that there is no date window, that makes it symmetrical and balanced.

·

Looks good! Can’t wait to see more of this. Already digging the chonky crown and that case size is music to my ears. And that subtle cross hair very tasteful.

Thanks Matt! Ah me too! It's certainly going to be a marmite option, I really love it. A fun detail is that the angles of the orange and turquoise segments represent the range of slope gradients avalanches are most likely to occur 27 to 39 degrees 👌

Hopefully we'll have an opportunity to sit down over a coffee with a few of these if you're back in Edinburgh anytime soon!
