A lot of watches get described as being a"strap monster" by the community. What watches are most definitely NOT a "strap monster"?

Integrated bracelets, as a rule. There are exceptions, but not very many.

Alot of Casio digitals aren't strap monsters. They have integrated straps & the usual 18mm lug width is paired with sometimes tight space for the spring bars.
I've put different straps on mine, but choices are pretty limited without some modifications.

This thing requires a 19mm strap with a curved end. Aka it’s a right pain in the bum.

I love those two. I like the Overseas bracelet as well lol, but i hope it has a regular clasp. I’ve never seen brushed finishing on hands before. It looks rough but it coheres with the aesthetic. It also kind feels like a 2000s funky watch brought back Galvatron-style

Most of the watches with integrated straps or bracelets are NOT strap monsters. Take a G-Shock for example, unless you get one of the very few straps from Vario or are willing to spend on a custom job, you will be stuck either with the original strap or adapters which are guaranteed not to add any beauty to the watch.
Other type of watches are those with a style and color scheme that push you to use a specific type of straps, for example gold dress watches.
Basically, a strap allows you to change the personality and look of a watch, on some watch it's impossible due to physical constraints and on some other it's either awkward looking or pointless due to their lack of versatility.
