HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT IT?

I'm curious how many of you are familiar with this watch brand. It's a well-established Swiss company, especially in Eastern Europe. This is the Atlantic World Master Limited Edition Chronograph watch, a thoughtful gift from my wife. She made a great choice!

Great movement. Makes for a perfect chrono.

Who told you?.Did you try the link I posted? Sure looks like he sells them.

·

If they aren’t sponsors of Formula 1 , Tennis, Athletics or Sporting events no one really pays attention to watch brands but us watch geeks 🙂 nice piece:)

Love the look of the dial very clean and yet vintage feel. Really like the pushers.

I have a vintage Atlantic Monza. That's all I have to offer unfortunately. I know they were very popular in Eastern Europe at the time though.

Yes - there are NOS watches from Atlantic from the 1960s and 1970s all the time on Catawiki for auction. They usually sell for under $500. They look great.

I haven't picked one up yet.

Thanks for sharing that there are still modern references out there to be had.

·

Yup, super popular here in Poland. I’ve not heard anything negative about them 😉

·

Now I’m going down the rabbit hole that is their website… thanks! 🤣

Being from Eastern Europe I am very familiar with this brand. The Worldmaster was a staple between connoisseurs here, like really coveted. I remember when Facebook was first launched there were pages/groups dedicated to this brand. I remember meeting real experts on this watches, they knew about anything on these watches, like what hands match an old reference and so on. Unfortunately at that time I couldn't afford one. Nowadays the very limited release of those heritage models with the vintage caliber got me hyped but it was not a right time for me to buy. I'm still waiting for my perfect Worldmaster release

Small correction Alpina made the heritage edition not Atlantic

Lovely watch, thanks for bringing this brand to my attention

·

Great strap for that watch too

·

Gorgeous watch mate. I just sold an Atlantic but I still have my Worldmaster Open Heart. It’s a brand you don’t see much of and that’s exactly why I buy them.

Appreciate it. Original strap is padded mat black rally strap . This vintage one felt right on it as well.

What a watch!!! At first glance I thought it was a classic seiko chrono I like a lot then I took a closer look. Beautiful stays short in my opinion. Congrats for the watch and kudos to your wife!

Thank you. She did a good job.

gosh, these are beautiful and the one you have (excepting the 135th anniversary) are the nicest in my opinion. I have come to the point in my collection that anything over 1500 dollars, I am going to save up for some grails. I have about 50 in this range, and this is truly a fine looking maker with Valjoux , etc

Agree

Wow, beautiful
