I think they nailed the Art Deco aesthetic by removing most of the numerals from the previous models. Definitely looks cleaner imo

Great looking dress watch. I like the use of more markers than numerals also. Makes the face classy and a bit understated. Good wear with a suit.

I was down with the red OR all the way the first time I saw it. It takes the stodginess out but still keeps it a classic. You can go fun casual or, like you showed, switch to a black or subdued strap and make it a bit more serious. 

I’m interested in the Baume et Mercier Hampton. A more modern take on a rectangular watch but still with some Art Deco inspiration. I think a rectangular dress watch works. 

The Longines Dolce Vita deserves a look as well for anyone considering going rectangular.  The obvious more expensive luxury options are the Cartier Tank and the JLC Reverso. Based on photos alone, I like the look of the new Hampton the best personally.

Such a banger! Oris nailed the delicate mixture of Reverso, Tank and Gondolo while still making it look different than all of the above mentioned.

The greyish/green also has a similar flavour. White is definitely the most versatile. You’ll have to post some pics up when you get it or try it on!!

That is a nice watch! I was looking at them on their site; Burgundy was not my first choice but paired with that taupe leather strap it may be the pick of the bunch and I do not have a square or rectangular watch in my collection at the moment. This could be one that fills that void but it does push the upper limit that I'm willing to spend on a watch. I may make an exception lol

Really nice rectangular watches. Have tried the blue, red and the green one at the very welcoming Oris AD boulevard Saint Germain in Paris.

If I had not have another imminent very different purchase in mind (Formex Essence 39 mm), i would have pulled the trigger on the red one.

It was a tough decision between the red, green and white for me., personally.

The Formex is a very high quality watch imo. The degrade dial is really special
