BB58 Appreciation Post
Few watches have the effect that the BB58 has on me. It was my first "luxery" watch and was purchased without input from anyone of anything. Before I knew the names of certain YouTube personalities and didn't know the watch community existed, I went to an AD hoping to get a Speedy. I happened to try on the BB58 and fell for it immediately. The size, shape, and feel of the watch was unlike anything I had tried on at that point in my life. To this day, wearing it fills me with joy and it is one of the few watches in my collection that is unmatched in its own way.

My AD didn't have one with a bracelet and I wasn't going to spend 650 bucks extra for it. The brands and straps I have for it work perfectly well!

They have great pieces! Though as of late they have def been marketing towards the Black Bay series.

Also, FYI to the watch community. I have a small wrist (6 in) and peeps tends to vocalize that the BB54 is better for smaller wrists, but the reality is that this watch fits perfect on me, so if you're worried about that, don't be!

Love my BB58. Call me a fan boy but I kind of love everything about it. OK the faux rivets are a weak spot, but the domed crystal, gilt accents, red accent on the bezel, case size, in house movement, slightly darker shade of stainless used etc are all right up my alley.
Surprisingly, even in NYC I never see anyone with it on. I have no plans of getting rid of it, hard stop.

There is something that is unique with the wearing experience of the BB58 that I have not encountered with any other watch ever (except my Aquaterra) and I think it's my brain telling me that this is as close to a "perfect" watch as one can ever hope to find.
Next on my list for sure (after a few cheap beaters perhaps), but the next time I’ll spend four figures on a watch it’ll likely be this exact watch

Thanks. That was August 22, she was 89. Dad passed last Saturday aged 91. I'll be getting another watch to remember him by also.

Let me chime in on the praise of the BB58 as well. I bought mine during the pandemic and have worn it regularly since. But I have worn it on no bigger day than the birth of my first born son. This experience makes this lass produced watch a piece unique to me and logically it will be the first watch I will pass down to my son when the time is right!
I love the Tudor BB line but the 42mm one is the one that fits me. I have a big wrist so it is the one I like the most. I have the BB Heritage Chrono and I am very happy.
