With your watch that took longest to get. Saving up or waiting for restocking, good deal, the infamous waiting list, hunting for a rarity...

The two biggest reasons I've delayed purchases were considering the purchase for months/years, and waiting for a good deal.

I wouldn't consider considering as waiting, because at that point you weren't sure you really wanted it, but that is of course the best reason to delay a purchase. :)
8 month wait.
Shipment from China. 🤣
Always waiting for a better deal.
Helm.....
Love the bang for buck, that wait is long..upside is you know exactly where you are in the line, and exactly how many they make a month.
I had no choice but to wait, I was in jail.
I waited about 2 months for a brand new watch on preorder.
Perception pre-order was many months before release. If I ever decide on getting Daytona you can mark it as many years indecision, but I doubt I'll ever go for it.
My longest wait was my latest watch due to the fact of trying to convince my wife this was a reasonable purchase 😂. She’s getting harder and harder to convince
It took me a long time to save up for a 39mm Explorer... and by the time I did they were discontinued, sigh

There are 40's now. Too big?
It is made to order to my specifications.

Nice.
The one watch I waited for the longest is my vintage Preisig. After it got stolen, it took me over 10 to find one (of 200) again.
The second longest wait was 2 months from purchase to the occasion for the self-bought gift.
The rest of my collection is a matter of instant gratification.
