Do you like to share?

My wife is really enjoying wearing the Omega Agua Terra.

Which begs the questio, Do you like sharing your watch?

I have to admit. i love it. it fits her perfectly and she likes wearing it….but my anxiety kicks into high gear when we adjust the strap to fit her wrist. I worry about the clasp. I worry she might ding it. I worry it might just disappear.

I know stop worrying!!!!

what really chaps my butt is when she doesn’t put it back exactly where she found it in my watch box. Lol

Does your significant  other wear your watch, kids, other family Members?

My girlfriend would be welcome to any of my watches that aren’t on bracelets, as they’d need resizing. She’s not too interested, and she has her swatches.

When I started collecting watches like expensive ones, there was a discussion in my house that we should have 36mm watches so we could both share them when we want. I started working out so my wrist is much bigger, like 2" bigger than her. Also, I only buy 39mm and above.

I like the idea, but my wife has tiny, dainty wrists and mine are pretty substantial, so sizing makes this a non-starter in my house.

Well, I do allow (maybe force) my wife to try them on under strict supervision. But she has no interest in my watches for some reason. She got her own ☺️ And she thinks that my watches under 40mm is tooooo small 🤣

I do borrow hers some times thou 😉

I would happily share with my wife, but she has no interest in watches.  She wears her SBGW289, and that's it.

I have shared my SLGA007 with my sister.  She's got it now.  I do worry that she'll get blasted drunk out of her gourd, and end up dropping the watch down a gutter, as she exits an UBER to vomit by the side of the road.

I’ve shared one watch with my wife. An Invicta Sub Aqua Noma III which was 50mm.  It was huge on her but she loves the design and it was pink.  I’d wear it occasionally with a pink tie or polo.  We’ve since sold it.  As much as she liked the oversized look it just wasn’t practical for her.    Not that it’s truly practical for anyone… lol

since then nah.  She used to have a Breitling Transocean 38 that was superb but in the mesh it was too tight for me and it had diamonds in the bezel which isn’t my thing.  We talked about sharing but never did.

these were both her watches though that I was able to share, she’s never wanted or asked to share one that started as mine.

Hope you saved the extra links! Ha, see what I did there?

Anyway, Mrs. Klosoff has remarkably similar wrist size to my own, but is stupidly sensitive to the sensation of stuff on her wrist, so efforts have failed. Other family are also naked wrist savages and no progress has been made there either.

At this point, I'd almost toss (a select) one to a casual work acquaintance if they had the faintest interest. No opportunity has yet arisen.

So my wife has not really gotten into the watch crazy like I have. But I have always brought watches that would not be oversized on here such as my bb58. Thinking about buying a 36 date just so she can borrow also.

I share watches with my wife and my son. My wife loves a loose watch. It does get me goin  when the watch is dangling upside down on her wrist and she knocks it on a table.
