A Copperhead on my wrist
At half past seven in the morning the sun is so bright and hits so hard that it become foolish to stay outside for more than a few minutes.
But that's OK because I'm just there to sip my coffee, finish waking up, and play with the camera and the copper dial Lorier Safari.
The acrylic is making it possible to take photos under light conditions and angles that would have been impossible to use if it was topped with a sapphire, and I'm having a blast.
TGV decision to keep a painted 369 dial and decorate it with art deco motifs was spot on, and so was the idea to use high polish instead of the traditional brushing on other 369 watches. This resulted in an elegant looking and dressy watch that is simply a pleasure to wear, because the size was also kept to the more traditional 36mm.
However, I'm very glad that Erika's Originals were here to help me replace the hideous Perlon strap with which it was originally fitted.
The original strap was cheap, scratchy and nasty. I used to think that the strap of the SARB017 was bad, but the one on the Safari broke all the possible records of nastiness and became a prime candidate for winning a bin tossing competition.
That can't be said for the excellent strap from Erika's Originals. The fit is perfect, the comfort is great, and the bronze hardware is just right for the copper dial Safari.
I'm a big fan of watches that are interesting because they are either unique, have interesting features, well designed or simply offer a great value for their price.

Lorier offers GREAT value for what you get! Every single one has its own character and you can tell its been designed with thought and care!

Yes, I do believe so. However it's a small brand targeted at a niche market of neo-retro and modern vintage design. Availability tend to be limited and the style isn't everyone's cup of tea.

I would think a lot of people would like that style. It's hard to predict I guess. I'm glad you got a good comfortable fit, but what about looks? Those strap colors were made for your watch.

Oh, I got it about a year ago I think. There was a very long pre-order wait time until they were shipped so I'm not sure when I placed the order exactly. Anyway, I wrote about it in my review here and I expended a bit more about the God Awful original strap here.
TL;DR It's a fine watch with a terrible strap - get an Erika's.
