OK so I'm going to go with the $10,000 (I'm assuming USD) collection. There are SO many gems that can be found.

I'm going with secondary markets with these. I've got two potentials in no particular preference.

COLLECTION 1:

You can actually do a variation of the two as well..

Monza, BB Pro, SMP 2254 would also be one of my fave 3 with the G Shock rounding out the 4.

Rolex explorer II and Rolex Op 41 green dial. Two watches I own and two watches I will hold onto forever if I lose all the rest although I do like my Panerai a lot

Submariner and Explorer I 40mm (if I could find a fantastic deal I’d try to get a GMT II in place of the Explorer) I know they are all pretty similar but I like what I like haha my watch collection reflects this 🌈 I didn’t price em out but I like the damn game!🤣😁

Oh course, I had to leave out several alternate choices, especially these. As you can tell, I’ve got a wicked case of watch collecting madness. (sighs) Not much to be done about it, though.

I would get a sporty GADA watch like the Glashütte Original SeaQ 20 bar 39mm

And a classy dress watch like the Glashütte Original Senator Excellence.

Which EII do you have? I’ve got the 16570 polar, and my other Rolex Wishlist is the Green Dial OP 41! Did you get the green dial from an AD? They are such a premium on the grey market

I would go for 4 watches totaling 10,000.

1. Nomos Club sport neomatik polar in 37 mm for $3500

2. Seiko SPB 381 for around $1500

3. Spaceone in brushed titanium (coming soon) for around $2000

4. Exaequo softwatch for around $2000-3000

You get a german daily/casual watch, a japanese diver&gmt, a swiss independent, and a vintage quartz. I think that covers almost everything for around $10,000.

I have the newest 42 mm black dial explorer II. I got my OP 41 green from the AD I was lucky, or I should say I was persistent I hastled them for over a year until I got it ot was the first Rolex I got from an AD

If we go by the current exchange rate that $10,000 is £8,000 then these 4 would come in around £8,500 but I might swap the nomos for a chronomaster and that is about £1000 less.

Haven’t posted much in a while, but this thread sung to me as I pride myself as a budget-conscious collector. In fact, I’ve been fortunate enough to obtain all of these pieces for lower if not the listed price (really the G-Shock was the only one I purchased on disco).
