Neither of these options is right. I wear them all pretty often, but it's not a specific rotation. Some are worn more, but all of them get wrist time a few times a month. I rarely wear the same one two days in a row, but it's also not impossible.
C. I wear them all. However, frequency depends upon the designated role for the watch within the collection.
I rarely wear formal attire. Thus, my dress watches get the least wrist time. That said, the dress watches do fulfill their purpose within my collection. I find wrist time isn’t a good measure of the value of a watch within a balanced collection. The better goal to strive for in creating a collection ought to be to having a collection that provides a watch for every occasion that the individual desires.
I have 11 watches and generally rotate through them. I usually don't go through the box in perfect order but I try to wear them all when rotating through them. Some I only wear 1 day but I wear my favorites several days in a row, maybe even 7 or 8 days in a row. It generally takes me about 2 months to work through the box.
I'm trying to be okay with not giving the watches equal wrist time. I wear what feels right to wear at the expense of the one supposedly next in line in the rotation.
A combination. I use the Watchee Pro app to randomly pick a watch for the day, but, if I’m not “feeling” that one that day, then I tell it to select something else at random.
I have a random number generator app and let it decide what I wear every two days. I have 30 watches, two days a watch, so I go through the whole collection in a couple of months. It's not a strict ritual, I might cut it short after a day and a half or keep it going into the third and fourth day if I'm feeling it. It helps me enjoying all my watches, but most of all, I don't have to think about what watch to wear, I just wear it. For freaks like us, it's the closest we can get to understand the life of people with just the one watch.

I usually try and match my watch to what I’m wearing.
I wear what I like and I do wear them all.

All day I live by rules at work...
You can't tell stupid people how stupid they are.
You cannot punch people who desperately deserve it.
Don't piss in the boss' cornflakes.
The primary motivation for following rules is to stay out of jail and to keep my job so I can buy shiny things.
Why would I impose some sort of watch wearing rules and ruin a hobby I love?

I wear the same watch basically every day, it makes it easy to choose

Neither.
I choose one that suits what I will be doing, what I’m wearing and weather/temperature.
I have only six watches in rotation so all get some wrist time without an order.
If I’m off and home, Sometimes I wear 3 watches in a day (not all at the same time 😉)

Is it ok to piss in other cornflakes?
I usually try and match my watch to what I’m wearing.
The correct answer is C. It should depend on the rest of what you're wearing.
I have this 3 step guide
Going from most to least important
Do I want to wear this watch today
Do I have to wind this watch up or Set it?
Do I need a specific complication today
Is it ok to piss in other cornflakes?
Literally, very much not ok. That's a sure trip to jail, suspension of nursing license and loss of job.
Figuratively, no legal repercussions but could still lose my job.

At least you got boundaries.
