Beware of fakes!😱 eBay doesn’t believe me
I found a counterfeit watch on e-bay.
It’s a pretty bad fake. Notice the crown guards and the date window.
Then I saw that there is 1 bidder!!! Oh no, someone is going to loose 3000 bux!

So I reported the listing.
Then after 5 hours, eBay sent this message above. Saying that the listing is valid 😱

Then I tried to look at the bidder. The bidder has 0 ratings. Meaning that he had never bought an item on eBay before.
So it’s a fake bidder too
Guess I’ll take a seat now. 😅

Yeah there are super clones out there. Thats why I rely on a professional third party watchmaker to verify my purchases.
He used to check my watch (for counterfeit) for $50
Now he raised his price to $100. 😤 But I still go to him

$3000 starting bid tells me that he wants to sell it as a real watch.
When I took a trip to Turkey, the vendors on the street tried to sell me fakes for $250.
The problem is, the $250 fakes in Turkey looked more real than this eBay one lol

You are absolutely right the Turks took it a higher level than the Chinese. Met my wife’s friend husband he’s a turk and comes back with a these super clone hand bags and belts and makes a profit.
The new real is fake now.

From what I saw on the Turkish streets, are fakes that can still be spotted by my naked eyes.
Also, the movement sounded so Miyota. Iconic Miyota on every each one of them.

I gave up reporting fakes on eBay. Have reported dozens and have never had them remove one.
Have had some luck direct messaging sellers and calling them out.

It's funny, after spending too many hours scrolling through the AliExpress parts bin you can recognize its parts almost instantly.

Brutal. Ebay seems to be making a push with ads for their watch sales and no fake guarantee, but I'm sure they protect themselves with legaleze so that if you pay a lot for a fake, somehow it's your fault.
