Do you find mixed Lume on a dial appealing? Something like... C3 on the second and minute and Bgw9 on the hour hand. C3 at 12 3 6 9, and bgw9 on the other indices?
This is my favorite watch in the world. I would own it today, but for my wife saying, "Uh... what are you? Six years-old?" when I showed her a picture.

I am with KristianG on this one: it neither draws nor repels me. Mixed lume has the potential for something interesting, or at least something particularly readable. I haven't seen anything I'd describe as a game changer in that respect.
I can only say I'd care if it the different colors were visible in the daylight, and even then it would be a subjective call on whether it had appeal or not.
I've only seen it done once and it looked absolutely awful but I suppose if I saw it done properly (something like c3 on 3 6 and 9 on the explorer for example) then yeah I suppose I'd be into it

Omega do it on their dive watches. Blue on everything, but green on the pip and the minutes hand on the Seamaster 300, for example.

Can't help but think it looks a bit like they ran out of BGW9 in the factory and just slapped c3 on the minute hand honestly. Kind of like when you run out of ink when colouring so you use a different shade of red
it seems to me that its only nice in moderation but splitting the handset like in the omega looks odd. If the pip was green and then maybe another hint of it then that would be tasteful. It can look like a pretty lady with TOOO much makeup on if your not carefull I think. I was thinking of doing it on the 3 6 and 9 of a project, but in all honestly I may stick to a single color, and just have branded logo on the dial another color.

It's not the fact that you'd need to be 6 to wear it... most men are only 6 years old. I think my wife might be more likely to suggest I up my medication if I considered spending €13,000 on a Moomin watch.

I don't dislike it, but I also won't buy a watch just because it has multiple lume colours.

Your wife's a keeper. Don't let her go...
I have a mixed lume watch. I don't find it appealing, but I live with it since it's one of my favorites.
