Started being interested in watches when my uncle gave me an skx007 and later on a Hamilton khaki officer. The intrigue of the mechanical aspects of a watch drew me in as I’ve always been interested in mechanical objects from cars to planes. Started off buying some random Seiko 5 divers at a younger age as those were the only things I could really afford but to my surprise was able to basically lose no money owning them for over 10 years and later selling them. Been on a long hiatus with respect to watch collecting now slowly getting back into it. Very happy to discuss with others about their journey with watches!
I tried a number of GO watches on ...I tried on their SeaQ panodate ... Specs make it sound really big for my 17 cm wrist but it was super comfortable and felt much smaller in size in person . Excellent quality as well.

I have 17cm wrists. I just felt the dial was too small. Like the ratio between dial and bezel made the watch too dainty looking. I ended up with a speedy 57...I know not even a diver but I was looking for my first luxury watch to celebrate my 40th.

Try both, you never know until it's on your wrist. I once thought the blackbay 58 would be the watch for me until I tried it. Not to throw another possible choice in ....I recently tried a Sinn u50t ....omg that fit and comfort is perfect ... 11mm thick and 500m wr and a bezel that feels like you are turning a turret on a high end rifle scope of Leica camera.
