It sure seems like it @Kinch5

Thats a lot of clicky bezels.

Had the 007 and couldn’t resist adding a minty 009 to keep it company. I’m good for now..

You are not wrong, I repeat, you are not wrong, you do not need therapy.🤣🤣🤣🤣

I love diving watches. Mostly because of their durability. Nothing wrong with dive watches. Go your hardest!

·

You know what they say.... dive watches are like jeans, you can never have too many. Or maybe that's just the voices in my head. 🤔

And some matching powermatics?

·

Love old Seiko divers!

I realized that my ideal collection has over 4 divers now… I’m a sucker for a good tool watch

·

I see a problem. You lack diversity... in divers. You need a supercompressor diver, a deep diver, a desk, diver chronograph, a Japanese diver, a German diver, a Russian diver, a Swiss diver, an Italian diver, a French diver, an American diver. AND THEN!!!...you gotta to get a blue dial, red dial, white dial, mother of pearl,...

·

If you need therapy, then I need to be committed 😁

😅yeahhh…good things come in pairs hehe. One is black and the other is blue!

it’s going to get deeper.

It's true.

Also.

That's what she said.

2 Office references for the price of one.

Depends why you have them. Do you wear them enough, and have relationships with each watch? Or does that not matter, and you just want to amass "stuff" to show other collectors? Either approach is valid, but knowing why you're doing something would be the best pointer as to whether you should be stopping or continuing with that behaviour.

·

I'm a pilot watch addict first but doesn't mean I don't have my fair share of diver.

Seiko Samurai. I missed the whole SKX wave and I think the Samurai was a close second.

Great analysis. Definitely have a relationship with each one of these. Some are actual divers. For me its the personal enjoyment of wearing them. Some are interesting coversation pieces for the history or technical quirks.

Solid divers! Here are mine:

Nah, stay home. You don't want to infect that professional with the watch bug.😉

You must have a Seiko to be one of us! Only kidding of course. Seiko has been a fan favorite brand for a very long time and is the brand that got many of us into collecting watches in the first place. At one point 80% of my collection was Seiko watches. It’s a really fun brand with loads of variety and even though they’re pricing has increased a decent bit over the last 5ish years, they’re still rather attainable and you can be sure that in 15-20 years the brand will be around whereas a lot of the other more affordable brands, mainly microbrands, may be defunct in the future which can make long term servicing much harder, if not impossible due to parts availability. Seiko will always be around.
