I know that Spinnaker (part of Dartmouth Brands) makes a massive selection of affordable watches (I’ve owned 2). They also make some nice homages (phantoms, etc.).

But to me, #direnzo is ART that’s bottled with a Elabore Sellita with Incabloc shock protection 😍

I know there is a lot of love for Spinnaker. And the countdown Hass was on point.

I will say though, I like how Direnzo mixes practical features, like lume/legibility, etc, with more modern/avante garde looks.

I voted Direnzo for that. And Spinnaker has honestly had some slip ups recently.

I see they aren't going to win, but Direnzo beats the pants off Spinnaker. Sergio himself regulates those movements before they go out the door. I was gutted when I missed out on the DRZ04 over the summer. I emailed him to see if there were going to be any reissued. He emailed me right back. I don't see Spinnaker doing that.

They are up against a one seed, but you never know, they have a lot of fans .

I owned a Spinnaker and even if I sold it, I still believe that they should go ahead with the quality and looks they provide.

·

My vote goes for Direnzo they seem to have more unique designs whereas Spinnaker seems more generic but saying that they have a big lead

·

#direnzo unique consistent design philosophy gets my vote. I’m

I don't think generic is a word I'd use to describe the Spinnakers I've owned

No that is a fair point, for me Direnzo is a little more unique but that is personal choice I guess 👍

·

I own a Spinnaker and it is beautiful, but they have to improve quality specially on the bracelet department. I voted for Direnzo this time..

·

I've liked the spinnakers I've owned but direnzo is in another level.

·

Direnzo hands down! Dials are spectacular.

·

I’m going Direnzo because true micro and those designs are far from the generic spinnaker ones.

Distinctive, yes, but derivative. Fleuss? Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. Hull? Rolex Oyster Panerai. They are nice and not bland copies, but Direnzo are on another level.

·

Direnzo all the way. The epitome of a fantastic microbrand. Making unique designs that are fantastic quality for the price 👏🏻

·

One of my colleagues had a couple direnzo watches and my god they are pretty in person. Fantastic value imo

·

Owning neither, I will say that the Direnzos are much better.

·

The Direnzo lineup is phenomenal in person. A recognizable family resemblance across models, but nothing cookie cutter. The price is also very reasonable.

Impartial judges are the best 😆.
