Nope, not me. I don’t approve of watches that make time telling a secondary function.
That said, it looks interesting, and I’m glad CW made it, it’s just not for me.

A watch modder (@dad.watch on IG) worked with Christopher ward in this model. It’s not been highly publicized, mostly word of mouth. There are several posts on his page about it with more info. I think it’s possible there are a few slots still available.

Oh wow, that's wild! I knew that they were dropping a limited release for the British Watchmakers Day, but that's a crazy dial, and I love the gold highlights. Gorgeous. I'm patiently waiting for my ice blue Cielo to arrive after the delays. I suspect that I won't be taking that one off the wrist much when it does!
You're right; it's not for everyone. I find it ugly. I find it overrated.
But I don't need to tell anyone here that the best watch is the one you like.

I hear that, the long wait and delays are torture. But I do think I’ve noticed more people posting about getting theirs delivered. Not long for yours I hope!!

Do I admire it, yes, Do I think it's amazing value for money and enhances CW as a watchmaker, yes. Do I want one, no I don't.
I so want one of these, but I am afraid that it's just something that I will lose interest in quickly if I bought one.....
Divers are my main pull, so although I really want a BC I don't think I'll push the button.

Solely on the designer’s Instagram, there were no press articles about it or email from Christopher ward. I suspect there will be some press about it as it gets closer to delivery. The wave guilloche styled dial is supposed to be a sound wave of the chime. 147 models to reflect the 147hz of the chime.
Seems a bit unfair to all on the waiting list that they are putting out others under the radar. They did the same with the gold one.

I couldn't wear this myself but it evokes a Victorian, Allan Quatermain League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Steampunk aesthetic which I love.
Hi y’all, I’m the Wave Edition creator! I worked w/ CWs bespoke program to make this happen. There’s only 6 spots left last I checked in (thankfully all the orders and payment is handled by CW so I don’t have a live look).
It’s been “in production” since November, currently CW is working on the platine prototype.
