Thank you! I have been really enjoying this timepiece. I wanted something unique for my first GMT and this bezel design sure accomplished that. It took me about a week to get used to, but now I have no trouble reading other time zones I set the watch to.

I think an important thing to consider is if you buy the Explorer II, will you be regretting not waiting for the GMT Master II? Since this is a big milestone in your career/life, you wouldn’t want to remember it as a watch that makes you wish you had the other one. However, if you feel like this watch would check the box of commemorating this successful milestone and won’t have any feeling of regret, I would totally do it. The Explorer II is definitely a watch worthy of being a trophy.
