New Black Bay

I think this might be one of their best looking watches ever. but then I do like a "boring watch"

what say you Crunchers? what Tudor caught your eye

I love the 41mm on the jubilee here

I like the bracelet, but the rest does nothing for me. However, I’m sure this is exactly what some folks were waiting on.

Seems like a good move for the general watch buyer who's looking for a "nice watch" eh?

I agree, but that’s not me 😂

I like the black and white color scheme without the gaudy gold accents. But back to 41mm and jubilee are both cons for me so it's a pass.

Also comes in a riveted bracelet and rubber.

That doesn't help, I don't like that riveted oyster bracelet either. 😂

Amazing 😍 any other new colours ?

this would have been better in 39 for sure

Let’s face it : this is for people who want a black Sub but can’t get it or don’t want to spend twice the money on one

·

Being a boring person myself, I agree with you because this is cool 😎

·

I have the same feelings about this

Yes, indeed 👍🏼

I want one

No it’s a completely new concept. It bears no relationship with the Rolex Black Sub

Wait until next year when they debut the addition of crown guards.

·

no matter what people say it is a welcome addition! Its less sick has better bracelets and is Metas certified

Totally agree Jeff. And just think about a guy who’d never consider collecting watches, but just wants a nice watch to wear. Well this is it.

And probably will be it for me as my first step up into more luxurious watches! Still have to decide if this or red bezel tho!

If I was buying a watch in this “category” today, this would absolutely be the one for me

My take: I've never bought a traditional diver because they all essentially mimic the Submariner. The only brand that could overcome this judgement would be their sister brand Tudor and in this case, it works for me. For me, their best looking watch. I would prefer having this plus 5K in cash than a Sub.

I think this is exactly the logic they employed and they just so happened to make a stunning watch in the process

Anybody know why it’s thicker than the BB58? 13.6mm vs 11.9mm. Is this because of the METAS movement? I hate to be picky but as others have said above, I’d like to see a monochrome version of the 39mm BB58 with t-fit. I’m actually okay with the fake rivets on the 3 link bracelet.

Yeah they did significantly decrease the thickness on this model last year with the red bezel 41 which I’m sure you know. I’m guessing that they understand a lot of their market is guys who actually like a larger watch. So this fulfills a spot for someone who would like a black Sub, but can’t get one, or doesn’t want to spend twice the price of this. It’s in the range of a Seamaster 300, so I think it’s going to appeal to a lot of “one watch guys”

I am considering this watch on the jubilee

If I didn’t already have a 925 id absolutely be wanting one. I do want one to be honest

·

Very sleek looking bb 👌🏻

·

This gives me vintage Submariner vibes but on the more comfortable jubilee bracelet. I certainly don’t need another black dial diver but for some reason I can’t seem to ignore and move on.

yeah it really has something to it eh?

·

Really getting into Sub and GMT master territories, wonder if it is thick as the hertitage models.

·

It’s a classic design, for me it goes well with anything.
