Anyone have experience with Spinnaker Watches?

I own 2 and I am very happy with them! NH35 work movements. Great specs for the money.

Bottom middle 2. Almafi and the Hunley.

I have 2 watches from spinnaker and the quality is way above the price I paid for them. My blue dial Bradner is a permanent piece in a collection of over 40 watches.

I owned a Spinnaker Fleuss for a couple months. With a bunch of discounts I got it for $210. I really liked it for the Fifty Fathoms bezel, and that’s kind of it. It was nice, and I liked it, but hardly wore it. I wanted someone to enjoy it so I gave it away. Build quality and price were on par, though the bezel movement was less than spectacular.

I'm definitely interested. Spinnaker has become my go to watch now!

I’ve got a Hass Beluga Blue and Spence 300 Whale Blue… I’ve got to say that Spinnaker is giving Orient a run for the money in the bang for the buck category. My $300 Hass has better case finishing and attention to detail than my $1100 Tissot SeaStar 2K. The bracelet on the Spinnaker shows where they saved a little money, but it’s still finished relatively nicely

Nice people solid watches for the money. In fact, for the under $300 space, they are one of my first go to recommendations. However, that price point comes with a caveat; you are not going to get the strongest QC and occasionally you may get one that needs to be sent back. Your mileage can vary, but it is worth noting.

I had a Spinnaker Vintage Fleuss SP-5055-01 before.

Overall it had decent build quality & finish. However the material of the rotating bezel felt like it wasn't made from stainless steel, bezel movement was kinda poor as well. I flipped my Vintage Fleuss & no regret so far.

But again, the model you posted is different so YMMV 🍻

I bought the Hull Commander not too long ago. I really like it, the quality is very good for the price and I can't say anything bad about it. Spinnaker is always selling some watches on huge discounts, which is a plus. Only downside is, IMHO, they will send you a lot of promotional mails and it is quite difficult to see the brands identity. They have a lot of different models in their catalog but they lack a bit of soul, so to speak. But, to be honest, most of those stories are only beautiful presented to get us to buy more stuff.

I am not overly enamoured with the brand despite them making some interesting models, and my giving them the benefit of the doubt. I have 3 relatively recent models (Wreck V2, Hass x MCP Turtle, and a Piccard), and the common theme is the QC is just not there, and unfortunately I would not recommend them to people based upon my experiences. Feel free to discount one dissenting voice on a niche forum, it is a free market.
