Incoming!

This Sartory Billard arrived just today! So I felt the need to share. It was over six months in the making. That's my surname at 12 o'clock. It even has my name engraved on the caseback. The red is brighter than I expected. It's got some serious bling.

That is a fantastic dial. Reminds me a little of Atelier Wen.

@wilfried beautiful watch. Shockingly, I am mid build of a similar red watch with him. How long was your build?

I still cannot believe how slept on this brand is based on everything that goes into them.

Beautiful! Time we'll waited for.

Everything was finalized I think in June, and the watch was finished in December. There wasn't time to ship for Christmas, so I held off till after the New Year. Designing the watch took like two months, but mostly because I dragged my feet. Armand is very quick to respond (I think he got annoyed because I would let things sit for days; he was polite about it, though).

Tell me more about the watch you're designing. Are you in touch with him? Has he sent you mockups?

I just finished off paying for an Atelier Wen, which should ship in a few weeks. 😬 So two Chinese themed watches, one with real guilloche, the other CNC.

I’m through renders and waiting on parts including the gorgeous dial from Comblemine. Still amazing that a dial from Kari Voutilainen‘a company can be had at this price point, obviously he’s making money elsewhere, especially the movement, but still.

Similarly, he had a red guilloché dial a year or so ago that that had me pivoting away from purple. The debate was to add an hour track or not, which I did.
