Timex m79 Is It Any Good?

Quick answer? Yes and no.

I love the 70's look Timex is using on these inspired by their old Q Timex watches.

Sure it's a cheap auto movement, but it keeps decent time.

And I think the colors are somewhat unique.

Would I like this watch if I paid full price? ($229)

Probably not, the bracelet is cheap, and build quality isn't there, I think there's many other pieces at that price point I'd rather have.

Now, I found this watch second hand for sub $100, so in that sense I like it for what it is.

Best way to purchase it. Most of these retros timex are a bit over priced.

I swapped this bracelet with the one from the Q Timex GMT. I like it better now.
