Bonus Watch

I got a performance bonus this year so I decided to buy a watch I've been lusting after: Formex Essence 39 Blue.

Really loving it! I love the metallic blue dial, the bracelet/custom rubber strap combo, and all the unique design characteristics.

One of my dream watches (green dial). Must be ultra comfy to wear, right? Congrats buddy

So comfortable! I also love the white dial but I decided to diversify my collection a bit.

That dial looks gorgeous AF… congrats! 😁

·

Congrats, this one has been on my short list for a while.

·

Congrats. Used a bit of my bonus to get a watch (or 5?! Cheap ones. 😉)

·

😂😂😂 Seems like many any of us suffer from the same affliction (funny that my iPhone autocorrected affliction to addiction 😂😂😂 both seem to fit)!!

·

I have the fumee dial one and I think it’s one of the better watches in my collection. So comfortable and captivating.

Well earned is well worn!

Absolutely love mine. Have it around a year. Its my only watch that I haven't considered moving on.

Wears like a dream and the dial colour chages throughout the day. You won't regret it if you pull the trigger.

Stunning! 🤤🤤🤤

·

On my short list for sure. Looks fantastic. Congrats !

I’ll point out two more things I love about this watch:

  1. The rubber strap is amazingly comfortable and integrates perfectly with the design

  2. The #formex proprietary clasp for the strap is next level useful and cool with its micro-adjust capacity.

Probably will get this beauty in 2 years for my 40th birthday :-)

·

Beauty! I just bought the same exact watch with my bonus.

·

It is an absolute favorite for me- the blue dial is ever-changing in the different lighting conditions . Congratulations, you made a great choice!

Love this wrist shot and the way the light dances off that gorgeous blue dial!!!

·

Really beautiful. It looks amazing!!!

·

Love these! Saw them in person and was really impressed with the Leggera model as well. Worn and Wound just released a cool collab with formex featuring sector dials on these which I find very appealing.

·

Congrats! The absolute best looking watch IMHO. Takes the best elements of integrated bracelet watches (without any of the disadvantage) and looks far more interesting than any other "everyday" sports watch.

Great watch! ❤️

That’s a real beauty. It’s a watch I’m very interested in buying. It seems to have got a lot more expensive with the COSC movement though. Having had no problems with accuracy with the SW200-1 non COSC movements (apart from one) I’d have been happy if they had a non COSC variant at a cheaper price. Similar to what Christopher Ward do.

Seems like brands are always trying to differentiate. This is my first COSC watch so I’m interested to find out if the increased accuracy impacts my ownership experience.

My Aquis, 2xHanhart, 2xSinn all have non COSC sellita movements and all run within COSC tolerances. The only Sellita movement watch I have which is outside COSC is a Christopher Ward Sealander which is at +15s/day which is a bit disappointing. I’d be happy to take my chances with a non COSC movement in a Formex Essence.

Lovely shot! What is your wrist size? Do you think it’ll fit well on a 6 inch / 15cm wrist?

Thanks! Mine is around 6.25"/16cm, but it should fit a 6" wrist as well. Lug-to-lug is 45.5mm or something.

Cheers man! Yeah, I just remeasured my wrist and it’s bang on 6” where I usually where my watch. 😅
