Omega Speedmaster Triple Date

Curious if there are any other owners out there of the Omega Triple Date Mark 40 (see photo). It was released in 1994 and I purchased this on a whim about 5 years ago. Purchased it on a leather strap and then found the original two tone band. I just love this and it is probably the best "bang for the buck" watches I have. Love the the multiple complications; 1) day, 2) date, 3) month, 4) 24 hour hand and 5) chronograph . If you did not know better one would think it is a perpetual calendar. This still can be purchased at bargain prices. It is an lower end Omega, but not sure why given all the complications (anybody know why?). I wear it regularly and the only complaint I have is the visibility of the hands and telling time. It has 8 hands, which is one of the issues, but the main issue is the fact that the time telling hands blend into the dial. Despite this flaw still one of my favorites.

I have the (slightly) newer 3220.50. I love the complexity of the dial! A plus for the one I have is that the logo and indices are all applied. It’s surprisingly easy to read despite the 8 hands and loads of complications.
