Zenith El Primero Chronomaster 38mm. What is your favorite chronograph, and why?

Hey, fellow watch enthusiasts! I wanted to share with you all my love for the Zenith El Primero Chronomaster 38mm. This watch is an absolute beauty and has quickly become my favorite chronograph from Zenith.

For those who may not be familiar, the Zenith El Primero was introduced in 1969 and is widely regarded as one of the most significant watch movements in the history of horology. With a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour, the movement is incredibly accurate and reliable.

The Chronomaster is a modern take on the classic design, featuring a 38mm stainless steel case with a beautifully crafted dial. The watch also has a sapphire crystal case back, allowing you to admire the El Primero movement in all its glory.

What I love most about this watch is its versatility. Depending on which strap you put it on, it can be dressed up or down and is perfect for any occasion. Here we have it on the Two-Stitch Coal strap. The size of the watch is also ideal for most wrists.

I'd love to hear from you all – what is your favorite chronograph, and why?

Love it. And great photo. Mine is my Speedy. Love the whole story about its connection to NASA and going to the moon.

That watch is STUNNING!!😍

I have a Zenith El-Primero Chronomaster T moonphase ( 2006 ) 01.0240.410 movement, triple calendar. Zenith chronos are awesome and were originally used in the Daytona. https://revolutionwatch.com/a-movement-in-history-the-zenith-driven-rolex-daytona/

I am a Zenith El-Primero diehard fan!

That watch, in the reverse panda configuration, is my (just about realistic) grail. My thing, if I had to pick one, is relatively simple three-handers but there is something about this watch I find captivating. So much going on but to me it feels balanced, harmonious - yes, even the date complication - and I have huge respect for them doing it in a 38mm package.

I have 4 favorite chronographs

Speedmaster, El Primero, Daytona and of course my Hublot Big Bang 😆

Sinn 903 for me, but the El Primo Revival is awful nice too.

Love it! The 38mm is just chef's kiss :)

2 chronos I have actually tried on and really want are the Speedmaster (so many iterations to choose from and I'm indecisive - and I have an Aqua Terra and kind of want the black/gold/steel Seamaster diver a little more right now), and an IWC pilot chronograph (would like to try on the AMG Petronas version). The Breitling Premier B09 chronograph intrigues me also.

I don't have a chronograph in the collection, but have a numbered Baltic Tricompax on pre-order that should arrive in April-May which I'm excited for!

I am not a Chronograph fan but I must say that is a nice piece

That El Primero is a piece of art.

The Sugess green copy is great value for the cash and for about 180 sterling is a steal. Change the strap though, it was a nasty green nylon job.
