What do you think is missing?

That‘s my current collection and I’m very happy with it. I just stated my passion 3 months ago. What do you guys think is missing? What should be in your opinion my next timepiece?

I would go for a chronograph. A speedy, a tudor black bay chrono (white -> so you have 2 white watches and 2 black watches) or an ebel el primero! If you do not like chronographs and are into dive watches, you go for a omega seamaster2531.80 with a blue aluminum bezel (pierce brosnan bond watch) or the seamaster electric blue, to give your collection a different color;)

·

It's a great collection. 👌

If I should make a constructive criticism, I would say the two Tudors look too much alike and feel redundant. Two divers could be seen as redundant too in a small, curated 3-watch collection. What strikes me as missing is a dress watch, which is always a staple in my own 3-watch collection (diver, field, dress). But you do you and buy what's your style. 👍

I'd agree. Beautiful watches before anything. I'd get a speedy, seems to be my life motto ATM 😂 so a tad biased. Or, again yes, a dress watch. Something I'm currently lacking also!

·

I’d say you need a “dress” piece. Based on the current three, I venture a guess you live more on the “sporty” side of things. Possibly an OP? You can dress it up when needed but looks great with a t shirt and chinos.

That‘s a very good idea! I always thought about a good classic speedy! I like even the thoughts about a blue dial 😏👏🏼

There is also a very nice older version of the speedmaster racing with a panda dial as differentiation in your collection. The ref is 326.30.40.50.01.002:)

Thank you for that words! I‘d agree with a missing dresswatch. My problem is I'm struggling finding a suitable dress watch that doesn't look like a typical fashion designer watch.. i love the DJ36/41 with the blue dial and the jubilee. But everyone is wearing this watch that’s what I don’t like about it😅

First, nice BB54 homie. Second, G-Shock baby! 🤙

Rolex Oyster perpetual, you can look up for a Chrono classic style like mine

If you're happy with it, then nothing is missing!

If it were mine, I'd add a dressier or vintage piece. Something without a bezel.

Rolex Oyster Perpetual. It is their entry level offering. A simple 3 hand watch that is amazing (imo)!

I forgot to mention in my original post, but you have a very nice collection.

A cool collection + a cool case. Bravo dude!

Thank you! Just started 3 months ago so let’s see what the future brings 😎

Nice collection, like others have said a Chronograph might be a nice addition, particularly on a leather strap as you’ve got bracket and rubber at the moment. Also maybe a blue or green dial to give some colour options?

I love the idea of an blue dial 😍

·

Zenith El Primero 1969 Original 38mm, on a leather strap

·

Think chronograph....maybe a Breitling or a Longines....you could also disappear down the vintage rabbit hole

·
twc_thewatchcollector

Love it but with the jubilee bracelet 👏🏼💯

even better!!

If you are three months in, slow down. You have to learn and decide what, how, and if you even want to collect or if you just like the watches you like and you buy them, no other rules needed.

If, a big if it were my collection I’d look at it and say, I have the same watch three times over, at least two with the Tudors. I’d say keep the Pro and Seamaster. I’d say add an IWC Mark XX on bracelet and then either a dress piece (maybe in a precious metal or a different shape, like a Reverso, Tank, GP, or a GS for the dial) and maybe a Chronograph or another complication in a different material (think carbon, titanium, etc… and even quartz or analog digital).

·

Rolex Explorer 💯

·

Id replace one of the Tudors with a black bay or a rolex explorer 1 and the other with a Seiko astron or a Citizen satellite wave.

I would like any reference, I’m not picky. Lol. I may just find the cheapest worn down one I can find. Lol

·

A 3-6-9 watch (as seen just recently in another post).

·

Maybe you need a chronograph 😀
