Omega speedmaster reduced Or Tudor bb58

Both are great watches that can be had for roughly £2500 on chrono 24, but what would pick?

Speedy! F-T-W

I've always felt like the Reduced was a bit of a cheat. The one people buy cheap from places in Asia (like Japan), trading off the smaller size, for getting an el cheapo Speedy. So I'd go Tudor.

(And I say that as someone who loves the Speedmaster normally.)

I own both. The Tudor BB58 is a more durable and precise watch. The speedy reduced is great for occasional wear, but the movement is more fragile and VERY costly for servicing and there's so much more to go wrong.

I really like both, but the Tudor is a better watch if you only want one for daily wear.

If you want to buy the Speedy Reduced, first find out how much it would cost to get serviced or repaired. I'm lucky that I know a good local watchmaker who looks after my watches. But if you're relying on Omega, just check the prices first. That chronograph is cheap to buy for a reason.

I agree with the above commenter. I would go with the Tudor for the same reasons he stated.
