This is from 1966 and I think they were doing great things until the quartz thing killed them off … for a while. The day date change on this is incredibly precise and the accuracy is still right up there. Glad they are back - though getting pricey!

Hard to see it in this picture, but vintage Grand Seiko and King Seiko actually have the reference at the bottom of the dial. Just an FYI for the future! You can see what I mean in this picture.
