As Different As Can Be

Well...for two watches based on the Explorer II line lol! That being said, while I love the low key modern tool watch vibes from the Black Bay Pro, there's something about that blast of 70's style of a 1655 dial that just doesn't get old. Oh man I think I regret selling the Steinhart😂

It's a lot easier to pick up another Steinhart than it would be to pick up another Tudor...

I definitely prefer the Steinhart. And the cost is about right for me.

Yeah the look of the Steinhart is pretty special, and that 70s dial won't get old for me! Steinhart's pricing is incredible no doubt about it

Once Steinhart manages to turn down the lugs a little more ergonomically and puts on a decent cyclops, I'm in. 😁

Lol yeah it actually magnifies, the cyclops itself is a bit larger than I originally expected, but I like it bc the date is viewable at more angles

Amen to that! Pretty much the only way it's wearable is on the bracelet so I'm grateful that the bracelet felt good. Wearing it on any other strap felt so awkward on my wrist. Fingers crossed for a change soon!

A lot to like with both watches! I agree that when compared to the Steinhart, the BB Pro feels decidedly different from the 1655. Not all black dialed + SS bezel watches are created equal 😂. I think the character of the dial markers is what really makes the Steinhart shine - specifically in the model you have which doesn’t feature the vintage lume. 🤙

I just don't appreciate the small details that separate Tudor from other brands enough to warrant the cost different so would definitely go Steinhart. Been watching for this one actually had in my cart once but decided to hold off till pay day and have not seen it available since lol.

I've been wearing this Steinhart for a few months now and am still in love with it. Certainly value for money and accuracy have been quite good.
