After months of this watch sitting broken in a drawer I finally decided to send it off for service. My local guy gave me a "don't want to do it because its not a Rolex" price, so I spent some time looking for a better option. I love this watch but it wasn't worth fixing at his price.
I ended up sending it to Griffin_Watches, who I have used a few times before, since he recently started working on chronographs. He nailed it....
Now I just need to figure out a summer strap option for it. I have a great leather strap for it, but I cant wear that in the summer. So far I have been using Perlon straps but if anyone has other recommendations, let me know..

Sweet watch! Glad you got it resurrected. How about something like this for a strap… red tropic rubber.
What did the service cost you? I've oly had my high end pieces serviced (Omega and Rolex), so I know what they cost, but was wondering about my mid tier pieces.
It was around 250
Where did you send it? I tried a search and didn't come up with anything. I'd love to find a place where I could send my watches for service.
+1 on the linxhack suggestion. I have a rubber strap that's identical to the one (side from color) that was posted, and it's super comfortable.
That's a great looking Chrono! I bet you're happy to get it back.
I sent it to Griffin_watch on instagram.
you did well restoring it! love it on aperlon, maybe also a racing one?

I have a great black leather rally strap for it. Tan might look pretty good too.
