Stupid Watch Thoughts
When your lusting after a watch on ebay (vintage in my case) and you can tell by just looking at the standard photos of a new posting, that it's a garbage refurb that could easily pass as decent vintage to the layman, is when you realize you have a new problem with watches.
I've never been relieved to not to buy a watch.

well if it 18K franken it might not be a bad buy if it is for the price of gold + some premium
No, this was horribly re-done US DoD issued Hamilton GG-W-113 from my birth year, but also my birth month being sold out of TX.
The crown was polished for goodness sake!
The ones from India are always refurbished old watches. They all have the same Mercedes hands.
Ha - the refurb circle of hell. There are a few more circles down you will eventually visit.
you could always buy a hublot...all of them a limited edition :)
