So I’m in college, deciding which Watch from my collection I would wear as an everyday Watch. I have this awesome Orient Neo 70s panda dial, but I’m afraid to make it my everyday Watch because if it gets damaged I might not be able to replace it years from now. Should I wear it or buy a different Watch that will always be around?

You like the watch. It is not an heirloom. It is moderately priced. It is unlikely to be stolen. It is not fragile. It is versatile. It is accurate and functional.
Wear the watch. (Think less.)
I for sure understand your thinking on not wanting to damage it. I say wear it, I have a job where I can be in the office one second and then might be on the dirt the next. You'd be surprised of how little your watch get damaged from day to day.
Wear it
Wear it, enjoy it.
Thank you guys so much, really helpful 👍🏽
This is the watch I got for high-school graduation in 1988. I accidentally took it to basic training, and wore it exclusively for ten years, before it was part of a small rotation. Sure, it has a few scratches, some minor decoration fell off. But it is still working today the same way it did then.
Wear your watch. It is very unlikely that you will have to replace a quartz watch.
Wear it. I wore my SARB035 through undergrad, dinged the case on doors and scraped the bracelet in a fall. When the time comes to repair or replace you can figure it out then. Despite that, I would have regretted not wearing it through the experiences I had.

I plan to get it regulated/serviced this year because it’s not keeping consistent time anymore, but still looks great to me lolol.
start with basics. Buy a Casio Duro, wear it on a rubber strap, change the battery every three years and live a 100 % carefree life.
Later in life, you will buy a Nomos Campus Club and start enjoying more refined things
I mean I agree you should totally wear it as long as you smile every time you lift your wrist.
But I will suggest two watches just because I totally get your situation.
For me my Daily watch just because its super affordable and still kinda cool is the Vostok Amphibia
But I guess real everyday watches I looked into and am deciding between at the moment are these two.

This one goes for under 20 bucks
Seiko 5 Sport some can go for 100 bucks or less.
Purchased this one in the 80's brand new, for how much I can't remember now. It's been bashed around and gone through a lot this little Seiko, only ever serviced once and replaced the hardlex crystal.
I bought the watch to wear, so buy the watch you want and wear it and you'll have all those memories attached to it later on in life 💯
