Hi there and welcome to the crunch, as a Brit living in Sweden I’m always looking out for new British Watches and these look great. I’m just curious about what the, I’m guessing Latin, phrase on the caseback means.

Welcome to Crunchville!

Those are super colours and I like your dial design. It’s a slightly dressy field watch design and a bit sector-y, too. I like it. It certainly captures the aesthetic that many people are feeling these days!

For myself, I would have to experience the watches on the wrist in order to really give the bezel a fair go. It raises niggling doubts in my mind, but nothing enough for me to start applying a deep critical eye. I’m certainly reminded of the 222 and Overseas as well as Genta designs.

I’m a big fan of the Overseas (did the ubiquitous Genta design it?) so I’m intrigued. You’ve certainly avoided the dreaded ‘homage’ pit!

Very, very best of luck to you! I hope you do well! 😃👍

Welcome! Very cool and unique bezel design 👍

Not a client for this first Model/Gen, but wish you the best luck and hope to see your watches in the wild soon !

Hey, thanks for the welcome! The Latin phrase translates as ‘perseverance conquers all things’ which I guess is personal to me on this journey of launching Satori 🙂

Our campaign is over on Kickstarter, but we’ve continued the special pricing on our website www.satoriwatches.com until end of Thursday 18th April. If you’re using Apple Pay or PayPal Later, we haven’t authorised them yet

We did have a first gen/model, which was 43mm diameter and with Swiss sellita 200-1 movement. But, due to the size and the price tag that came with Sellita movement, we had a call to redesign. Miyota 9015 was the best choice for reliability and overall performance.

Got it,you can also add that miyota does not have “helicoptering”issue sellita has.
