So, which box is it (manufacturerer, brand....)?

That was back in 2004 the Seiko SBDA003 (Samurai Titanium), first generation. I was already interested in watches, but that one kicked it off for real.

Personally, I can't look past the cut-out of the traditional lines of AP by the current management.

Trust? Come on!

In fact, I like to watch all three. It's good entertainment, but nothing more.
Federico has industry insight, which is a plus. But the other two can also make fine videos.

But if you ask me who delivers watch talk the best way? Time Teller! 😂

It's not constantly on my wrist. Even with a new watch I like to switch between watches. This also extends the "new watch" feeling... 😂

But by now I can say that it was a hell of purchase. I do not exaggerate... but indeed it puts a smile on my face when I look at it in the sunlight.

There are actually two things I have discovered:

  1. It is literally the first watch I do not hear any sound from the moving rotor! Sure, if you have an automatic on your wrist you hardly hear anything (there are exceptions...). But when you take an automatic in your hand and give it a few shakes you mostly hear the swinging rotor. Not on that one. Like they put in a silencer! 😜

2. The crown/tube alignment is fantastic. When you screw the crown down on the case it stops perfectly when the Omega Ω sits horizontal. Sure, not a technical marvel, mind you. But still it shows a certain level of care.
Beside that, I do feel the crown being on the small side a bit. I don't have big hands and fingers and yet screwing the crown in is not super-easy. Someone with big hands might find it quite awkward.

Microbrands bring, in my opinion, a long needed influx of new and sometime bold ideas and concepts to the horological word and business. Let's hope those brands will develop and stay for good!
