One of my oldest watches that doesn’t get as much wrist time as it used to now that I’m not office based.
But, when it does get an outing I quickly remember why I fell in love with it. When the bronze dial catches the light it looks awsome and the detail on the cream sub-dials 😍 For me it is a work of art as much as a complex bit of mechanical engineering.
Yes, the dial is busy and it’s not the easiest to read and it’s a pain in the arse to set the triple date, but I can easily overlook all these negatives!
Have it paired up with an Ostrich strap from Dangerous9straps that I think compliments its dial’s colour scheme.

Beautiful watch, ive been eying a breitling for some time, but it also might not get as mich wristtime so im still holding back 😝
Too busy for me, but Breitling really knows how to do a busy dial well. I don’t know what it is, but their stuff always looks good no matter how many numbers are on the dial.
It's a stunner !
The Navitimer, probably in my top 3 grail watches. And the coolest thing with the Navitimer is that there's plenty of variations and they all look really good, specially in evil panda. Yes it's busy, but I don't mind when it's as beautiful as this. Congrats
Wow, Absolutely stunning. 💪❤😎
I have the silver dial version from 2002 and I do love it. Like you I don't wear it as much as I did when I first got it. You should try the bracelet, its like butter on the wrist. I have a selection of Breitling leather straps for mine but once I put the bracelet on it never came off.
Gorgeous 👌🏻
Yes! That ostrich strap is perfect for the dial.
Big 48mm Navitimer 1461, purchased when watches were robust in size, one of my personal favourites intend to wear it for a very long time.
Simply gorgeous. Timeless. ♥️
