Boutique Hopping in Munich (Omega, IWC, Zenith)

I was in Munich today and dropped by a couple of boutiques.

Omega was cool as always, very busy today. Got to try on the Trilogy Railmaster. Good watch, but definitely not worth the MSRP of 8,5k€. Lug to lug is a bit too long for my taste. Also looked at some Speedys, was a bit let down by the 38mm Speedmaster.

Next IWC:

The Mark XX is great and the bracelet is god tier. The boutique in Munich is really nice, if you're ever here. Definitely have the Mark XX on my short list.

The Ingenieur is a bit too fancy for my taste 😉

Last Zenith: Had a good time there, my first real contact with Zenith. The boutique here is the only one in Germany and the crew there were really nice. The movements are amazing, just waiting for the perfect watch for me.

Any thoughts on the watches I tried on? (Tried on more but forgot to take pics of them all 🤦🏼‍♂️)

Really cool! Think I'd be too boring to wear it often, but the titanium case is just cool. I think it's a boutique edition though

Yeah I have tried on the black one in various ADs but never the green. I will need to visit Zenith.

Found the black dial one pretty nice too, both of them I prefer over the steel versions

The black Zeniths are sweeeet

Seeing the titanium chronomaster sport so short after it's release must've been cool! Any thoughts on that? Did you get to see the triple dates as well?

·

Looks like you had a great day, that is fantastic. I'm super envious, I still haven't seen the Zenith's in person yet, they are definitely on my short list. I really want a blue dial chronomaster sport, but I want the main dial and the sub-dials to all be the same color, like they did with the pink model.

It's the Zenith Revival for me out of all the ones shown here.

The Titanium Chronometer was really cool. You expect it to weigh a ton and then it feels like it's made of paper. But a cool color combination 👍🏼

Yeah, I'd prefer than too!

Had a nice afternoon just feeling out with the guys and gals in the boutiques. The Zenith boutique in Munich is quite unique and also only open since a few months. Really cool to have the chance to wear them all and get insights from the watchmakers. But did feel there was a bit of negative energy between IWC and Zenith (the boutiques are also nearly across from each other 😄)

I like them with the titanium case, not a huge fan with the steel case

Decent selection there! It would be the IWC Spitfire for me.
