Hello from Asia!
Hey folks, this is Sean from Asia - Nice to e-meet y'all!
I'm not entirely sure how I started my watch collection journey or whether I'm actually on one, BUT, I do know that for the past 2 years, I've been passively sourcing for different types of watches.
Quick introduction on how I got here; I chanced upon this community while watching a Youtube video on the Seiko 5 GMT. I'm a novice but I thought to myself 'What the hell, it wouldn't hurt to join and see where this gets me'..... so here I am.
I'm attaching a picture of my latest watch collection... along with a couple of stories for some of these timepieces
Solvil et Titus - This was my first automatic watch and I got it (about 10 years back I think?) because of this commercial:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C188PHMcXhc I think Solvil et Titus used to make one of the best watch commercials ever (Miss the days of good old marketing)
Rolex Submariner ND - I got this watch last year as a gift to myself for achieving a key milestone in my career. Pretty cliche, but hey, it does the job well.
That's about it... I'm looking forward to learn from all of you here!

Thanks buddy. I'm an old soul from Singapore. Honestly though, I enjoy my Seiko mod much better than the Sub. It's a placeholder (for years probably) till I get my grail, the aloof 5168G.

I feel ya buddy. One of the reason why I got sucked into watch collection is the uniqueness behind each timepiece collection for each individual. Learned this from a mentor of mine at work :)
