Current Collection
I thought to introduce my 3 timepiece for my first post. A more in-depth review on each timepiece will be posted in future.
All 3 have a special meaning. Starting from the IWC Mark XVI, I bought it after selling a vintage Rolex DJ 1601. “Why? Who would trade in a Rolex for an IWC?” You would say. More on that in my next post.
Next is the Cartier Tank Solo. It is a wedding watch that my wife and I bought for ourselves. The back case is engraved with our initials.
Lastly, the Tudor Black Bay 79230N. The wife bought it to celebrate my 30th birthday.

I have a Spitfire UTC, which is based on the Mark XV case. I also really love the new Mark XX - especially its excellent bracelet. It impressed me when I tried it on in person, and I think the IWC website doesn't come close to showing all of the details.

Lovely piece! I have handled the Mark XX in the metal and it's the bracelet that got me. Comfortable and an engineering genius. Though I wish they had made the date wheel match the dial except for the white.
