Nice to hear that your clasp works again!

Had the same feeling as you that the constant extending of the clasp made the whole wearing experince ruined.

Good that you got to keep the old one, unfortunately Certina kept mine so I cannot repair it to have an exta.

Hopefully they see the issue and take quality assurance measures to ensure the watches arent shipped like this in the future!

I tried the 39 Zulu Time on yesterday and loved it.

The 42 still works for me, but i prefer the fit of the 39 on my wrist.

For your wrist I would go for the 39 🙂

My daily driver tics at about + 2 secs per day, which is nice as the power reserve only has run out once in a year an this means I do not need to worry about being late for meetings without reseting the watch every day.

For my other watches I don't care if they run minutes of, as I will need to wind and set the time anyways before wearing them each day.

The smallest watch I own is a 35mm vintage Longines. Was initially not sure if it would be too small, im generally more of a desk diver type of guy, and bought it without testing it on. But for my wrist I think it works perfectly, and as a result I now prefer watches sub 40mm.

I like how titanium watches, due to their more greyish tone, are less "blingy" than the stainless ones. That gives them a more subtle apperance in my opinion, so bigger watches doesnt stand out toooo much on your wrist.

Generally do not like the date window.

Which is likely one of the many reasons I like the Oris Pointer Date

Just based on pure looks, I would go for the Rado. Not a big fan of the dial of the HC, the numbers are too big for me, and the lack of the 3, kind of gives me the apperance it has fallen off.
