Coming back into the hobby after a few years layoff/burn out. Have been through all the usual suspects from Omega to Rolex to AP to Seiko and everything in between. Now just happy with my Speedy and looking at some micro-brands with heritage and something special to offer.

I disagree. When it comes to watch marketing (e.g. promoting an item that is a non-essential luxury toy), approach and tone of voice matters. It matters a lot. I'm sure Tudor would still love my custom, but I can't help feeling they made a choice here - to dumb down their appeal for new, younger buyers ONLY. They must know that us older watch geeks are grumpy, smug, and absolutely HATE being spoken down to. They obviously made a choice here. And for me, it was simply the wrong one. For Instagram teenagers, it was probably the right one. Not sure those two things can be true at the same time.
I totally agree - and perhaps I was using a bit of hyperbole there...but still...the brand is seriously reducing itself in my eyes. This 'wacky teenage' approach is telling me that Tudor is not interested in me as a customer.
