Coffee Watches
What is a ☕ watch? These are old pictures, but I was inspired to make this post by a comment on an older wruw post. A commenter said that he needed a coffee watch. I have two such watches: the fun Brew Watch Co 8-Bit Brew, and the Unimatic Modello Uno U1S-MB (MB for the Mocha Brown color).

I love coffee and watches too, but don't wear or have a specific one for when brewing. So, I just take photos of these 2 fave things we enjoy...

Is a ‘coffee watch’ one where we can record the duration of brewing time?
One where it’s a purpose specific watch (for example, a highlighted 25-30 sec counter, for expresso)?
Technically, most watches can serve this purpose. It would be useful to automatically ‘stop and record’ the brewing duration especially as a person’s hands are quite busy operating machinery with ‘hot’ temperatures at this point.

Brew watches are specifically made with that in mind so, yes for that one. My Unimatic because of the color. Just having some fun with this.

Andrew morgan talks a lot about watches looking edible as the highest form of horology. I took a photo last year that I think goes w/ your coffee theme nicely—Salmon dial but it looks washed out from certain angles, so my tag line was “smoked salmon and espresso”
The 8-bit tho….if I ever get a Brew watch, it will be that one. So fun, plus I have a raging coffee addiction so it fits.
