If it was not clear... I already getting this watch 300%. I just try to inform/educate myself a little bit more about my future watch 😀
When i had asked abt this watch at a cartier store i was told i can order it with unspecified delivery date. Understood it's not limited edition but only a few are made per month. So to my understanding not a catalogue model but not extremely rare either.
I don't believe Cartier announced it as a "limited" release but they aren't producing as many of the lacquer dial models as the regular Santos Dumont. In fact, you won't find any of the lacquer dial models on their website. So, they are essentially limited due to rarity.
