I wanted something with a stainless steel bezel. I did consider the jdm polar version, but the blackdial really spoke to me. But I can see one might gravitate towards the stealthy cool of the all black. Cheers!

Great choice! I’m (im)patiently waiting for my local AD to be able to order me one. In the US it appears they are sticking to their April release date.
I like the looks of this one and in general I'd like to see more field GMTs rather than dive GMTs, but dropping this in a case with an almost 48mm lug to lug was a total fail imo.
love the look, but I hate the choice to put hardlex in this. I'm waiting for the price to come down because I'm gonna have to pay to upgrade the crystal anyway

I do agree with you, also the case is very slab sided with no curvature to the lugs. Wears like a 41 mm imho

I got excited about this one before I realized that on my itty bitty wrist, it would be Overhang City, population: me. 😅
Why didn't they put this in the case the Sport version uses? Bigger diameter, but that case wears smaller with those short lugs. It's wizardry.
