The watch that started it all

Being a 90s kid, the only watches I was aware of were the ones with quartz movements ( which I had no real interest in) . And like every kid in that generation I wanted a digital G-SHOCK; until I saw this beauty on my dad’s wrist. It was mesmerizing to watch the seconds hand sweep instead of tick and seeing the movement through the exhibition case back made me appreciate the thing even more. Dad got this watch in 2009 and wore it everyday. And after years of pleading handed over this beauty to me in the past year. Has been serviced once in its lifetime. Still keeps great time and reminds me of all the fond memories with pops. Something I would cherish for the rest of my life.
