Finally upgraded! Traska Venturer GMT
Hey WC!
I’ve been wearing a Seiko field watch (SNK809) for the past 6 years or so and finally upgraded to a Traska Venturer GMT with the Miyota 9075.
I’ve always been fascinated by watches, but never really believed that I was deserving of a more upscale watch. So I kept wearing the old faithful day in and day out, and my interest kind of dwindled away a bit. A friend of mine, who recently became interested in watches, reminded me of the fascinating world of watches and rekindled my interest. Fortunately, the timing was just right! Recently got the promotion I’ve been working towards and the holiday vibes pushed me over the edge. Feels good to treat myself after these past years, and have been in love with this watch!
Anyway, thanks for reading through my first post here on WC. Really love what I’ve seen in this community and can’t wait to participate more.

The second crown is for the rotating bezel/24 hour ring. I don’t need to keep track of three time zones, but it’s been handy for timing things here and there.

Ugh the steel blue dial is so gorgeous. I’m kind of glad that was out of stock when I bought mine. Would have been a really tough decision!

I believe the dimensions are 38.5mm case and 46mm lug to lug. Not entirely certain of my wrist size, but I’d say about 6.5. Summiteer looks great also, and I don’t think you could go wrong with either.

Totally agree. I was amazed at the value prop when I found the watch and floored when I got it in hand. Beautiful piece with great QOL features.

They all look gorgeous. I was between the blue and the white. I found the blue secondhand and then the choice became obvious.
