It's not a small watch (50mm lug-to-lug; and the straight-sided case also makes it seem quite chunky.) I find that these dimensions work very well on a 7" wrist, but they may turn off folks with slimmer wrists. This is probably the largest case I'd personally wear.
What’s your price point? Aquastar has several vintage-inspired models, e.g. the Model 60 in the $1500 range. For around $600, I think it’s hard to beat Baltic‘s take on the classic skin diver (and one of the Aquascaphe models also has a metal bezel).

If you are not tied to the microbrand category, there‘s a vast range of very good and classically designed Junghans Max Bill and Junghans Meister available on Chrono24 or EBay for ~600 USD. Alternatively, consider more affordable options from Junghans-inspired microbrands like Sternglas.
